Explore the beauty of the lesser Himalayan ranges at
two top destinations, Shimla and Manali. From Delhi,
the drive to Shimla starts early morning with a halt at
Pinjore Gardens, off Chandigarh. From the plains up to
an elevation of 6,500 above sea level is indeed
wondrous. The picnic spots outside Shimla are each
unique in their own way. In the next phase, the drive
to Manali will reveal the rivers and their personalities.
In the neighborhood, you will be impressed by the
architecture and natural wonders that are so
mportant to the various religions prevalent in the region.
Day 1: Arrive at Delhi
- Arrive at Delhi Airport pick up & transfer to your Hotel-
- Explore the sights of India’s colorful Capital – Delhi in a half day sightseeing trip.
- We suggest Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple and India Gate. Night stay Delhi
Day 2: Delhi to SHIMLA
- After breakfast depart for Shimla (350 km/10 hrs) by road. Stretch your legs at Pinjore Garden, near Chandigarh,
- before starting to get the hill road part of the journey.
Day 3: Sights around SHIMLA
- Kufri is the ski destination near Shimla. In summers it good for enjoying horse rides and a visit to the zoo,
- The views are stupendous. On days when these sights are closed, the option is to visit Naldhera Golf Links
- and the Mahunag Temple, which gives the place its name. Return to discover Shimla independently.
Day 4: Shimla to MANALI
- Today is a really scenic drive to Manali (272/ 9 hrs).
- You will quickly visit the Beas-Sutlej Link project and
- Pandoh Dam as you cross the Kulu Valley. Night stay at Manali.
Day 5: Bliss in MANALI
- Visit the Hadimba Temple in the forest, the sulfur springs at Vashishta Kund, the Club House with indoor games
- and the Tibetan Monastery, which is a carpet weaving center.
Day 6: Adventures in MANALI
- Rohtang Pass, Solang Valley and Snow Point offer exciting adventure sports, depending on the season.
- These are at your own expense, through we take you there. The snow caps in the distance make the visit worthwhile for all.
Day 7: Down to CHANDIGARH
Day 8: Back to HOME from DELHI
