The story of Vasantkamal Tours began in 1999, with our hotel, Srikamal International, in Solapur. Located in a region blessed with sacred destinations such as Tuljapur, Pandharpur, Akkalkot and Gangapur, our hotel became our first school of hospitality. We welcomed pilgrims from different parts of the country and the world, helping them discover these holy places. Every guest taught us something new about the importance of care, comfort and personal attention.

Our journey took a new direction when Mr Rahul Manthalkar moved to Chennai to pursue his career in sound engineering and acoustics. As people discovered his Maharashtrian roots, Tamil families began approaching him for guidance on pilgrimages to Shirdi and other sacred destinations in Maharashtra. What began as a personal effort to help people gradually developed into a professional vision: to transform pilgrimage travel through thoughtful planning, genuine hospitality and greater comfort for devotees.

Our first tour began with just six humble guests from Mahalingapuram, Chennai. Little did we know that this small beginning would grow into a journey of thousands of families placing their trust in us. Through personal recommendations, one family introduced another, and our tours gradually became a trusted choice for pilgrims. Today, Vasantkamal Tours has served more than 25,000 families from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Over the years, we have worked towards setting higher standards in pilgrimage tourism. We believe that a pilgrimage is much more than travelling from one destination to another. It is an emotional and spiritual experience, often cherished for a lifetime. Therefore, every aspect of our tours receives careful attention, from transportation and accommodation to darshan arrangements, timings and the comfort of our guests. Wherever available and suitable, we assist our guests with VIP darshan arrangements to make their pilgrimage more convenient.

We are proud that our approach to pilgrimage travel has also provided valuable learning to others in the industry. However, our greatest achievement is not the number of tours we have organised, but the trust and relationships we have built along the way.
